Jump Start (2 and 3-year olds): Our two or three-day 2&3-year old program provides a “jump start” to preschool. The program is designed to meet the needs of both two year olds and three year olds who are still toilet training or who aren’t yet ready to start our three and four-year old class.
Both classes are an introduction to
each of our curricular areas: math,
verbal language, written language,
social skills, science, fine motor,
gross motor. Nursery rhymes, poems,
finger plays, and songs are a large
component of the teachings.
Preschool (3 and 4-year-olds): Our
two-day and three-day, 3&4-year-old
programs, also provide an introduction
to preschool. Children must by 3 years
old by September 15th of the current year. The program is intended to be a more in-depth introduction to each of our curricular areas: math, verbal language, written language, social skills, science, fine motor, gross motor. The program is play-based, using the Creative Curriculum to guide instruction and assessment. Children are offered a variety of types of play to encourage their social and academic progress.
Religious Education (3-4 year olds): We believe that families should have the choice as to what type of spiritual education their children receive. Therefore, we have designed a religious education program that is an “add-on” to the children’s preschool experience. The beauty of this scheduling design is that when the children are in Kids’ Kingdom, the entire hour is dedicated to his/her spiritual journey. Utilizing the Godly Play™ Curriculum, in combination with songs and art experiences, children will have the opportunity to hear stories that will help them understand the people and places that form our Christian beliefs.
